Lotus Herbals NaturalBlend Swift Makeup in Creamy Peach 730 Review & Swatch
Hello Girls,
How is your sunday coming along?? As you know by now that I am a Jain, we have a 10 day festival going on, so we are a bit busy in the mandir activities.
Anyways, coming to the product I am reviewing today, it's Lotus Herbals NaturalBlend Swift Makeup with SPF 15. The product claims to a multi-purpose one and could be used as foundation, concealer and sets to a matte powder finish so you wouldn't need to powder your face afterwards. Also, it has sunscreen, which makes it safe to skip sunscreen depending upon your exposure.

Nails of the Week: Free Hand Striping
Hello Girls,
Welcome the Nails of the Week. I have a new possession in my vanity case, that is Jordana Pop-Art Nail striper. This week I have used that to create some free-hand striping nail art on my nails. Even though it looks a bit complicated, it is not.
And free hand striping is the best form of nail art, quick and lets you work according to your fancy. For me, this was easier than using a stamping plate.

USD 20 = INR 1100 Makeup Challenge
Hello Girls,
How was your weekend, hope all of you had a blast!!! I for one did and got a Hidesign handbag (will show you the pics tomorrow, haven't been able to transfer all mu stuff to it properly, but to tell you all, it's bigger and better than my earlier bag. I love it :)
Now, coming to what this post is actually about, some of you might have guessed, but some of you might be wondering, what does she mean by all this???
Recently, while surfing on the blogosphere, I came across USD 20 makeup challenge posts, where the challenge is to find some decent makeup within USD 20, which you could use on a daily basis and maybe for some occasions. So, that made me thinking, can we something similar here???
Here's my haul for USD 20 = INR 1100, and I am glad to say that I could definitely find some decent makeup over here in India that could be used to create a variety of looks. Will be doing lots and lots of looks with these products in the near future.
Coming up is the haul pic:

Lancome Labsolu Creme De Brilliance #365 Swatches & Review
Hello Girls,
Today I am back with another review from Lancome, which was also a part of the haul (shown HERE). This has since become one of my favorite party gloss. I had been wanting a red lipcolor in my vanity case for long, but was always scared about trying one, 'cause I did't want to look too vampish. So, I decided to opt for a gloss because they are a bit sheerer before going full-on with a red lippie.

Lancome Magic Voyage Travel Lip & Eye Pallete Swatches
Hello Lovelies,
Yay the weekend if here, and I am going shopping. I hope I get the handbag I see in my dreams, the perfect color, style and design, and very very spacious. Ok, enough dreaming, let's come back to reality and life.
Sometimes, you come across some makeup kits that you cannot ignore for the life of it. One of such products for me was the Lancome Travel Voyage Lip and Eye Pallete, which though I tried very hard to resist and ignore, in the end I just had to buy it.
It was as though the eyeshadows and lipcolors were calling me back to themselves and I was so hypnotized that I bought this product even without swatching the shades.

Jovees Cucumber Skin Toner Review
Hello Girls,
Just one more day to go, and then it would be shopping time.
I am planning on buying a new handbag this weekend as my current one has
completed it’s life cycle or so it seems!!! Any suggestions on which color to
go for?? Will surely be sharing the pics of the purchase with you girls.
The product under review today was totally an impulsive buy.
These days I am testing out ingrown brands more to find some hidden jewels and
also for a price comparison with the luxury brands. As most of you know by now
that I have become an online shopping fanatic, which has given me exposure to
so many of our Indian brands and has prevented me so many times from going out
on hot and humid days to nearby cosmetic stores to check things out. Moreover,
these brands are never presnt in their full range over there and that gives me
one more reason to shop online.

Singapore Trip Memories
Hey there,
How is your day coming along??? As promised in my HAUL post (read HERE), I am posting some of the pics from my recent singapore trip.
First a few things about singapore, it's a very clean and green city from whatever I saw of it. Next would be that it is an expensive city. Third, it is the most comfortable and well-planned city I have seen (considering that this was my first international trip).
We were there for 5 nights, the first day was just the flight and some local trip to a mall nearby. We stayed at Ibis Novena in Singapore, a three star hotel. The room was not very big but comfortable with all the amenities you would require. It had an MRT station at just 5 minutes walk, which we never got around to using, cause we had found all about free shuttles to all tourist destinations.
Day 1: We went by Singapore Airlines, as my son was 2+ when we were boarding the flight, so we got a separate seat for him as well. The staff is super friendly and couteous, the kids also get a kit for playing before take off. There are special Child meal in the flight as well. Simply love Singapore airlines :) Most of the tourist attractions have a discount (10-15%) if you show SIA boarding pass. This came in handy for us at many places. Read for details below.
Reached Changi airport and were cruising on our way to hotel in a taxi in less than 30 minutes after touchdown. talk about efficiency.
We stayed at Ibis Novena Hotel, it's a relatively new budget hotel but extremely clean and efficiently maintained. The hotel staff is extremely helpful and will help you with all things you require at any time of the day. The only negative point was that their only restaurant would close down before 10pm and there was no room service. We settled for this hotel as we wanted to save money yet be close to Orchard Road from where there were free shuttles to most of the tourist attractions.
Day 2: We had planned for Full Day City Tour, there are many tour operators running these kind of services and we chose FunVee HopOn HopOff City Tours. For most of the attractions we visited entry for children below three years was free. It was fun, a double decker bus with open top allowing you to visit all major locations in Singapore with ease.
The tours start from Singapore Flyer and there is a shuttle, which picks you up from your hotel. all major hotels are covered so it should not be a problem, wherever you decide to stay. We went about in the Flyer as well, some pics below.

VLCC Wild Turmeric Face Wash Review
Hey Girlies,
How was your weekend? Mine was super hectic and super fun, feels like I was
on a vacation for a whole week, considering the number of tasks I completed
over the weekend. But, with children around all the problems seem to vanish in
a moment and each activity is so much more fun, be it getting groceries, random
repair work at home, or going out for a
dinner.
Okies, so back to this awesome product, which I am reviewing
today, it’s VLCC Wild Turmeric Face Wash, pretty recent purchase.

Elizabeth Arden High shine Lip Gloss in Berrylicious Review, Swatches
Hello girlies,
How is your weekend coming along? Just came back from a hectic and tiring grocery shopping routine from Reliance Fresh. good those people sure know how to be slow. Sometimes, it just gets way over my patience level (which is something as I am a mommy now and have more patience than in my pre-mommy days).
Today would be the review of a recent purchase and a pretty good one at that. I got this during my singapore trip and it was available on discount at the duty free shop. At SGD 10, I thought it was a very good bargain and picked it up ASAP without much deliberation.
