Hello beauties,

Spring is here and so is the trend of fresh makeup. However, I just can't seem to get over glitter and therefore I am reviewing a super affordable glitter eyeliner launched by none other than Maybelline India. The eyeliners are aptly name Hyper Glitz Ink Eyeliner and come in a cool 5 different shades. Couldn't find these online on Nykaa and therefore went ahead and purchased them from the Lifestyle store.

This is the makeup look I wore today for a day function. I wanted to go all glittery and paired up a beige glittery cream eyeshadow with a holographic glitter eyeliner. And my eyes were twinkling like stars (though the camera didn't do justice enough to the glitter going on my eyes).

Do you also feel “Love is in the air!” at this time of the year? I do so always and it’s not because of Valentine’s Day only. It’s also because of the Spring Season and the love Mother Nature bestows upon us with the lovely and fresh flowers everywhere and the season turning to cool from cold.

As an ode to the love being received from Mother Nature, I decided to go for a soft pink makeup look. It’s a very fresh look perfect for this weather and takes a maximum of 10 minutes to achieve if you have the right makeup products in hand.

I have been on a hauling spree since the new year began (read HERE) and as promised I will be putting up makeup reviews of all (read most of) the products that I have got. So, today I bagin with reviewing the Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick. A recent launchin around 10 shades from which I was drooling over the two nu?ish milky shades Loyalist and Dreamer. Read on to know my opinion about this new liquid lipstick range from Maybelline India. 

Maybelline Haul

So many new launches are happening all around us and this time I couldn't just resist. After being on a makeup ban for most of the previous year I have decided to buy as many products as I need and not crave! So, I am trying to make concious decisions of not buying similar shades in lipsticks, eyeliners, eyeshadows etc. 

Went to th eLifestyle store last weekend and saw some awesome Maybelline India launches! And since I am in a neutral lip shade mode right now (enough of fuschias and corals for me) so I got these two lightest nude shades from the Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink range Dreamer and Loyalist. So far I am loving them both! There are a total of 10 shades in the range. 

I have also picked up Maybelline Color Jolt Matte from there (in the shade Show Off Nude) and a Maybelline Color Sensation Vivid Lipstick.

I am back again with another LOTD for the winters. We had to attend a cosy family lunch over the weekend and I didn't want to look too caked up but at the same time quiet put together. So, I opted for neutral shades and made them work by adding some highlighter over the high points of my face for a glowy, glowy look!

How are you doing today? I am enjoying the beginning of a great weekend. Today, I am sharing another haul with you, from medplusbeauty and from my Oriflame consultant.

 First up is some stuff from Medplusbeauty, an epilator, two baby lips and some free goodies. The site is giving away free samples when you shop for 500 (1); 1000 (2); and 1500 (3). Also, the number of maximum samples per order is 3.So the kajal, sindhura cream and jovees face wash are all free samples with my purchase.

Festive Makeup Tutorial: Silver and Blue

Since the festivities are right upon us, I decided to do two makeup tutorials for Diwali. Since here in India we are always wearing bling in our festive clothes, I decided the makeup to match the bling. While playing around with colors I had in my kitty, I came up with a silver and blue eye makeup, which I think would look great paired with all-white / all silver outfits. Hope you are doing good. So this week, I am swatching my Maybelline Colorama Nail Paints, which I recently purchased (read HERE).

Marinho, a gorgeous blue with very fine shimmer (almost golden), nothing too gritty or sparkly. I love the depth of the color and my swatch below is two coats. The color applied evenly without streaking.
