My Summer Beauty Favourites: Edition 2013

Hey everyone,

Every once in a while I find myself addicted to some products, especially for a particular season for no apparent reason whatsoever. Maybe it's due to their aroma or my mood or the weather or may be hormones ...yet those products appeal to my senses more than the others and I have decided to do a compilation of such products with the changing seasons every year.

So, here we go with the list of my favourite summer 2013 products, which I am loving a little more than the others adorning my makeup cabinet:

Nail Art of the Week: Flowery... Minty...OR Both

Hey Girls,

I am back to blogging!!! Oh it was painful and difficult yet sometimes when you and your kid (both) are not well, then you know that everything is not in your hands :)

But no complaints, I am feeling a bit better but kids generally take up a few days to heal and add to that the non-compliance or rather no-liking for medicines, ha ha ha!!! Am sounding so much like a tired and cribbing mommy, but am so not. Life is always fun with kids and they show you a different perspective of the world everytime.

Black Smokey eyes, EOTD, FOTD

Hey Girls,

I hope everyone of you had a nice and relaxing weekend. Mine was fun and frolic and includes some grocery shopping. Also, saw the movie "Ladies v/s Ricky Behl" yesterday. Loved Anushka in it, she is a stunner, really love her skin and the makeup that she dons. She is quiet experimental and looks pretty good.

After my initial stint with brown smokey eyes (shown here), I was determined to do more smokey eyes. So, for this weekend's outing, I chose black smokey eyes. Hope the pics do justice unlike last time (where it looked as if I had dark circles) and hope you girlz will like it.

So, here it goes, products used first:

KIKO Sheer Crystal Lipstck in Tropical Orange Review and Swatches

Hi everyone,

Hope all of you are enjoying your Sunday to the fullest. I had a lazy brunch and the power cuts here are really pushing me to go to some mall, which I don't want to in this sun.

Anyways, today am going to do a review and swatches of my KIKO crystal sheer lipstick in tropical orange, which most of you remember from my Italian cosmetics haul post (see here).

My Anushka (Canon Ad) Inspired Smokey Eye Look

Hey People,

All of you must have seen the new CANON Ad with Anushka Sharma, I just so love her makeup and wardrobe; in fact her whole look is very alluring. I specially like the way her eyes are done, the smokiness coming from the kajal, smudged at the lower lash line.  I have tried to copy this look a couple of times, and below I am sharing with you guys my attempt and FOTD.
Starting with the products used for this look:

 MAC Painterly Paint Pot
 KIKO Sheer Lipstick
  Vedic Line+ BB Cream
Revlon Eye Shadow Palette – Naturally Glamorous
  Lakme Kohl Ultimate (reviewed here)
 Lakme Lash Artist Mascara

Nails of the week: MINT !!!

We have arrived at Wednesday, which for me marks the fun weekend being away by just two days. And also, marks for all of us here the Nails of the Week.

MINT is a big trend worldwide currently for shoes, belts, bags, apparel, and even nail paints. Most of you would recall that I asked one of my friends for MINT nail paint from KIKO cosmetics, Italy (shown here), which I am reviewing today.

My ITALIAN (Cosmetics) HAUL

Hi everyone,

Recently one of my friends went to ITALY for a vacation, and we were both super excited by this news. Next both of us searched on and on for Italian Cosmetic brands and found KIKO being listed on most of the blogs. I prepared a list of products and gave her to bring home, and she very sweetly obliged me. So, as soon as she landed in Milan, she went and looked for KIKO and got all stuff for me.

This is what I got: crystal sheer lipstick (tropical orange), Soft Touch blush (gold fishing), and a mint green nail paint.
