LA Colors 10 Color Eyeshadow Pallete in Warm Review & Swatches

Hello Girls,

How has your weekend started, mine is pretty cool, as I am at my Mumma’s place enjoying “Ma ke haath ka khana”, yummm!!!

So after a sumptuous meal, I decided to review this awesome 10 color eye shadow pallete from LA Colors, which was a part of INR 1100 makeup challenge (read HERE).

Price: INR 350 for 4 gm of the product (I got this for a discounted price of INR 297). Packaging is quiet nice with all the eyeshadows placed like different sized coins over an oval shaped base, which is covered with a transparent lid. A sponge tipped applicators are also provided with the pallete, which are useful and apply color nicely.

Ingredient list:

Swatches (right side of the applicators):

My experience has been good with this pallete so far. As you can see from the swatches above, the eyeshadows are quiet pigmented. The swatches above are without an eyeshadow base, with an eyeshadow base the colors would be even more vibrant. The texture of these eyeshadows is very nice, they are silky smooth and glide on the eyelids like a dream. So far, I have worn them for 4 hours at a stretch and they have not creased or faded, but I will have to test them for longer hours to know their lasting power.

As you would have noticed from the swatches, most of the eyeshadows are shimmery and they look very nice on the eyelids giving your eye area a nice sheen and making you look more awake. I particularly like the blues, pink, brown, and black (which is my favorite ‘cause it’s super awesome and very good for smokey eyes and for defining the crease).

The only problem I think is that the eyeshadows are varied sizes, and some tend to end up faster than the others. Wish all of them were of the same size. Availability is also a big issue with the pallete, would be available via online shopping for most of us.

Product rating: A-, available via online beauty shops. I would recommend this pallete to newbies who are venturing into the world of makeup as these palletes have so many different colors and textures to try on and would help you master the art of eyeshadow application and so many different looks.

Take care...
