Step-by-Step Makeup Tutorial: Casual Night Out

Hey Girls,

Thanks for the awesome response to my Giveway!!! Taking a cue from the comments, I am doing a step-by-step (or should I say three step eye makeup) tutorial, something which I can comfortably wear on a night out with family for a dinner or for a movie. Since such plans are usually decided just 10 minutes before moving out, I have this quick makeup routine which takes somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes for me to be completely ready.

Products used for this look:

MAC studio sculpt founation NC35
MAC sheer select powder
MAC Posey blush
Lancome L'absolu Creme de Brilliance #365
MAC fluidline (added goodness)
Shu Umera Lash Curler
Estee Lauder Magnascopic Maximum Volume Mascara Review

I generally use a product in more than one ways, which makes it easy for me to get ready super quick. Ok, so let's see the step-by-step tutorial:

Step 1: Apply fluidline all over the upper eyelid thickly (don't worry if it gets messy). Since fluidlines are smudge proof and crease proof, they don't need a primer underneath and the color stays true all day long. Use your ring finger to blend in the fluidline quickly into the crease before the product dries. Since fluidlines are smudge proof and water resistant, you can use them easily in this rainy weather and you won't get racoon eyes. Fluidlines have become my go to product since the summers and they are still going strong.

Step 2: Apply the fluidline again near the upper lashline (creates gradient effect) and outer corner of the lower lashline.

Step 3: Curl your lashes and apply mascara, and eye makeup is done :)

Both eyes:

Moving on to my face, applied MAC foundation with my fingertips all over and followed it up with MAC powder on the T-Zone. Applied MAC posey (creme blush) on my cheeks using my fingertips again. Finished up the look with Lancome L'absolu creme de brilliance #365 on my lips (since eye makeup is neutral, I used a bright lipcolour to break the monotony and bring some warmth to my face).

And I am ready to go out!!! Hope you girls liked the tutorial, do let me know in the comments section below.

Take care...
