Inglot lipsticks haul

I have been hauling like crazy over the past few months and my friends have dubbed me as a shopaholic. So, am planning to not shop for atleast next two months...
So coming to my haul for today. I got three inglot lipsticks as a part of Inglot online sale (at shopatmajorbrands.com) two months ago. The discount was tooo tempting to not avail. They gave a 30% discount on purchase of Rs. 2000 and above.
So coming to the lippies which I got, Inglot matte lipsticks 410, 412 and Inglot slim gel lipstick 62. I got these for the upcoming festive + bridal season as most of the lippies I have are daily wear shades.

Pregnancy: my first trimester

Today I wanted to share with you guys my pregnancy experience. This article is part of three series of articles, one for each trimester. So, read on if you are planning for a baby, are going through pregnancy, or just for some first-hand information from a first-time mommy.

So, we were planning for a baby after like 4 years of marriage when my husband wanted a baby after seeing everyone around him having kids. He was very excited to know that I had missed my period, though only by a couple of days. Even though I said it is normal and happens to almost everyone, he was full enthu and got me not one but two test kits.

Been out of touch for some time now. But I am back with a new find, Vedic Line Face Wash - Sandalwood & Turmeric. I came across this brand on urbantouch.com while shopping online (one of my most trusted sites, which has never disappointed me). Anyways, my Lakme fruit face wash was getting over and I wanted to try something new, so I thought of ordering this face wash.
What the face wash bottle says: Face Wash formulated specially for normal to dry and mature skin. Well, I have normal to dry skin in winters, so I thought lets give this a try.

Hurray!!!! Another year is coming to an end, am so looking forward to the new year celebrations with my kid. So much wanted to share with you all my small list of things which I would like to accomplish in the coming year. These are not resolutions, but more of a wishlist.
Please note: all these don't talk about makeup and shopping, which are lifetime passions and are not part of this wishlist.  So, lets go........

Baby diapering issues: some tips

Today I am going to share my experiences and thoughts on diapering (yuck!!!). Diapering is one of the major issues with babies (and their parents) till potty training. Being a mom to an active baby, I was faced with various diapering related issues, such as, whether to use diapers, which ones to use, etc.

So, I am penning down my experiences with a few diaper brands available out in the market. With each day, new ones are coming up which I have not used and probably will not be using (so cannot give information on those). I do not claim to an expert on this, but would like to share with all the new mommies my experiences in diapering my son from his initial days -  today.

In the beginning of my motherhood, everyone advised against using diapers on my baby for at least the first 40 days. We did as prescribed by my mom,  my mom-in-law, and other ladies of our senior generation. They say the baby should wear old cloth nappies as the newborn's skin is too soft and would easily rash on excess diapering.
