Clarins SPF 40++ Sunscreen Review, Swatch

Hello everyone,

Today I am reviewing a product from the house of Clarins, which was a pat of my Vellvette box but missed the review process closely. The amount was very less and I wanted to use it when the sun was ut fully to do justice with the review.

Price: INR 2200 for 30 ml of the product. I received a 5 ml sample of the product in the box. The tube is perfect to be taken for a short trip and for deciding whether to buy the full product or not.

Swatch:

Blended:

As you can see from the swatch and what I perceived as a shock was that the sunblock is a bit tinted. I had no idea if it would suit my skin tone or make me look ghastly white / pink. When I first blended the sunscreen on my skin it was a little white but settles within a minute to my skin tone. But I guess the same would not be the case with darker skin tones. Coming to the sunscreen properties, it is an effective sunscreen but Neutrogena makes very good sunscreens at a fraction of the price this one retails at. The price is a big downer for me with product.

Product rating: A, availability at most Clarins counters and via vellvette.com. Personally would never buy this product 'cause of the price factor, but would nonetheless be a fabulous product for those looking for luxurious sunscreens.

Take care...
