Nails of the Week: Maybelline Coral Chic

Hiya Girlz,

Love Coral this season, it is (was) the most liked shade this spring. am still carrying the coral craze into my summers monsoons this year. As you would remember from my haul post (shown here), I got the Maybelline Colorama in Coral Chic.

But first some product information. Price: INR 90 for 8 ml of the product. Packaging is standard with a little flimsy cap holding the brush.

Ingredient list: Missing

Though the color looks pretty good in the bottle, it comes out quiet sheer, when applied. What you see below is five coats on my nails. The nail paint has micro golden shimmers which don't look obvious or OTT but offer a nice finish and shine to the nail paint when applied. In fact, the color looks glossier and pretty when applied thanks to the micro shimmers.

The staying power is quiet decent, stays for two days on my nails without any touchups. The nail paint brush is ok neither too great or bad and spreads the nail paint non-streakily on the nails. Coming to the formula of the nail paint, it is fluid enough to be spread easily but sometimes it makes the application a bit difficult with the nail paint getting all over my cuticles and under my nails. Wish it was a bit thicker, which I think will happen after one/ two exposures to the heat.

Product rating: B+, available at all Maybelline counters and online beauty shopping websites. Would recommend this to all PYTs out there looking for some fab shades.

Take care...

  3. Good shade but yes the outcome is quite sheer in a single coat. But I liked the brush of these nail paints :)
