Ragi Rich Baby Food

Guest Post by Chand

Hello all..........!!!!!!!
This is the most exciting post for me. The topic includes the details of baby food that I have used for my daughter.

90 days after my delivery I had to leave from my maternal town to my work place. It was then my mother packed few dried sprouted cereals for my daughter. But one night I found that I have no enough stock of these cereals and over night my mother cannot send me those sprouted cereals. Heavy heartedly I decided on picking up those instant ready to use baby food mix……cerelac or nestum. And like a boon, I got something similar to what I had been using………found Ragi Rich at a Nilgiris store.

I was very reluctant on instant baby food powder that usually involve mixing of baby food powder with water and using directly. Ragi Rich is a baby food which involves boiling the powder with water or milk for about 2-3 minutes. I usually boil it for about 7-8 minutes.
Ragi Rich has sprouted Ragi and sprouted Green Gram as its main constituents. Ragi Rich has been liked by my daughter very well. She swallows off everything without any fuss. While boiling the Ragi Rich powder I drop a couple of crystal sugar. Crystal sugar is very good in preventing cold, cough and flu. And it adds a little sweetness to the semi solid baby food.

There are instructions on the package of Ragi Rich on how to prepare a bowl of this baby food. It has all natural ingredients which are very good for growing babies. More over the cereals are being sprouted and dried before powdering. No artificial colors or taste added. No preservatives too.  A natural food for infants.
