REVIEW: M.A.C. FLUIDLINE BLITZ AND GLITZ

Giveaway Entry by Gurpreet

Girlz,
I have been following Kumkum’s Mumma’s World ever since it started and couldn’t resist myself from participating in her first ever Giveaway once I laid my eyes on those gorgeous prizes to be won.

Although, I am not a huge cosmetic-o-holic, I do try a few things on and off and writing definitely is not something that I have cherished in the past. So, as walk the new lanes, this is my first ever blog entry (...as an attempt of winning the Giveaway  J).

I have been such a huge fan of pencil eye liners that I almost forgot how to apply a liquid eye liner with a brush and stopped buying liquid eye liners. Lately, I heard about these gel eye liners and wanted to give them a try. As I have slightly shaky hands, I was a little sceptic about the whole brush application part of
these gel liners at first, but boy I was surprised with my experience with M.A.C. Fluidline Blitz and Glitz.

What M.A.C. claims about Blitz and Glitz fluidline: Ultra-smooth, Fluidline's gel formula provides the precision of a liquid liner with a silkier, softer finish. Goes on “foolproof” with a brush in an easy dip-and-stroke action. Long-wearing. Smudge-proof. Lines up in a rich array of colours and finishes.

Quantity:  3 g / 0.1 oz

Price: 1000 INR

Packaging: It comes in a very cute and tiny glass tub with a standard plastic black cover.

Consistency: It is so smooth and yet not runny. The consistency is so apt that it automatically attaches itself to the brush when you dip (or rather touch) the gel inside the tub.

<!--[if !vml]--><!--[endif]-->

Application/Usage: You would require an eye/lip liner brush for application. And as you glide your fingers along the eye lid, it gets applied onto the lid. Effortlessly! Trust me; it only took me two applications (yes, just two) to attain perfection.

Swatch:

Pros:
Long lasting
Smudge proof
Waterproof
Gives excellent results on the waterline too
Though the name Blitz and Glitz suggests a sparkly look, it is actually not that sparkly and can be worn in office without a second thought

Cons:
Little expensive
Only available at M.A.C. stores
Might be little difficult to apply for some

Rating: A

Conclusion: I would surely recommend this to everyone who is stuck with pencil eye liners and wants to try something new. For those, who are already pros with liquid or gel eye liners, this is a must have product.

Cheers!
GP
