Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum

Hello beauties,

This year have been very very different (or should I say difficult) for my skin, as my skin has lost all the glow it had, I have used only mattyfying products on my skin throughout the year as it was breaking out like crazy. So, basically I have relatively calmer skin now, but without any healthy moisture or glow, which was never the case earlier. So, I was looking for products, which would add some healthy moisture to my face without breaking it out. and as you would know by now that I am a big fan of anything natural, I was looking for options in natural skin care brands. Kama Ayurveda and Forest Essentials have excellent skin creams and serums with all natural ingredients but they are way too heavy for my breakout prone skin. Then I turned to the K-brands, the most in thing right now and got this Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum. Read on to know how this one fared for my skin...

Price: INR 1950 for 80 ml of the product.

Ingredient list:

The packaging (cute little bottle with pump):
The Serum:

The serum is almost transparent with a slightly runny texture. Another thing you will notice is the fragrance, quiet subtle yet intoxicatingly natural. Though the fragrance does dissipate after a few minutes (for the ones with sensitive nose).

Texture wise the serum is quiet runny, almost fluid if I may say so. It spreads easily on the skin due to its runny texture and doesn't tug your skin. The serum is absorbed super quickly as well but doesn't leave your skin feeling heavy or makes your pores feel clogged.

Price wise the serum is a bit on the expensive side, but if you compare the quantity with the price then it comes out to be reasonable. You get 80 ml of the product which does last atleast for 6 months.

My skin has been drinking up this serum quiet happily and I have no new breakouts as of now. This is the only new addition to my skin care routine right now. Also after using this Serum for a week or so, I have noticed a slight luminosity on my skin, so let's just say that the ingredients are doing their job quiet well.

Overall, I am quiet happy with the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum. I would highly recommend this to beauties with acne prone skin or oily skin, who are looking for products which add a boost of goodness deep within the skin without incresing the oil component of the skin.

I sincerely wish we had something similar in Indian skin care brands as well. Though the Votre Serum is quiet good the hefty price tag for 12 ml of the product is what is preventing me from buying the super nice serum.

See ya...
