Kama Ayurveda Pure Vetiver Water Review

Hello beauties,
How are you guys coping with the changing seasons, from hot to humidity and then back again to the hotness! This weather does tend to take a toll on my skin and the result is breakouts and dull skin. My solution to tackle this problem skin includes washing my face several times a day with a good face wash, using an aloe vera gel instead of moisturisers, and using a refreshing and cooling toner for sure.

Though I love using toners on my skin throughout the year, but during the monsoon season, the toners become life savers for my troubled skin by providing a boost of freshness to my skin. In fact, I spritz toners several times a day to refresh my skin. Currently, am using the Kama Ayurveda Vetiver Water as a toner and a body mist.

Price: INR 645 for 200 ml of the product

As seen above, the bottle is dark colored to prevent any photo degradation of the product and therefore it retains the fragrance till the last spritz.

Packaging: Comes in a sturdy dark colored plastic bottle with a nozzle spray on top. A basic yet functionally effective packaging, easy to carry around and no leakages whatsoever. The nozzle spray is of excellent quality. Spurts the right amount of toner onto my skin in a nice spray pattern.

The toner smells just so so so fresh, just like vetiver (khus in hindi, if you would prefer). One spray is enough to transfer you into a peaceful and calm abode. I just love spraying this one several times on my face these days. Totally worth every penny!

It tones and hydrates my skin evenly. With regular usage I have noticed fewer breakouts and firmer skin. However, I haven’t noticed any brightness in my skin. A handy product during this season, saves me skin from pollutants and irritants.

Now since it can function as a body mist as well, I have substituted this product as my deodorant and trust me that it functions just as well though for shorter time duration. The effects start wearing off for me after 4 hours approximately, and then it is time for next application. However, I love using this as it is natural and not chemically laden like deodorants. Also, since it doesn't have a strong lingering fragrance I can use my favorite perfumes with ease without any interference from secondary fragrances.
