Chilli Paneer Recipe (No MSG)

Hello Everyone,

Today I am sharing a Chinese Chilli Paneer recipe with you without any MSG or Soya Sauce. So, those of you who want to keep these ingredients out of their Chinese, read on...

Ingredients:
1 medium Capsicum, cut into thin long stripes
1 medium onion, cut into thin long stripes


200 gm Paneer (Cottage Cheese), diced and cubed
2 tbsp Chilli sauce (I used Ching's)
Salt, to taste
Black Pepper, to taste
Cornflour, 4 tbsp
Oil for frying

Let's begin, start by coating paneer pieces in 2 tbsp of cornflour lightly.

Fry the coated pieces in oil till golden brown, drain on a tissue paper.

Saute onions in 2 tsp of oil till slightly golen

Add capsicum, salt and pepper. Cover and cook till the veggies are softer.

Add 2 tbsp of Chilli Sauce in the pan and cook for another two minutes.

Here I am making some gravy, otherwise you can skip this and the next step and add paneer pieces and serve.
I dissolved 2 tbsp of cornflour in 1/2 cup water and added that to the vegetable mixture.

Let it cook and thicken a little.

Add Paneer pieces and cook for another two minutes.

Serve hot.
