Innisfree Super Volcanic Clay Mask Photos, Swatch, Review

Hello beauties,

Wishing all my great readers a very HAPPY WOMEN's DAY! Hope all of you are taking good care of yourself (and not just your family), in physical, mental as well as emotional aspects. Wherever you are and whatever is the role you are in, DO take out atleast 5 minutes for yourself everyday. In those 5 minutes you can chill and just be yourself without making mental lists or without completing tasks one after the other. Just be yourself for those 5 minutes, don't move, don't worry and simply sit or lie down and shower some love on yourself.

A great product, which helps my skin to detoxify and destress during those 5 minutes is the Innisfree Super Volcanic Clay Mask.A recent purchase after my Glamglow mask got over, let's get to know more about this product.

Ingredient list:

Price: INR 1100 for 100 ml of the product.

Packaging:
The product comes in a plastic tub with a kinda metallic cap. The packaging is quiet lightweight and functional. Not very luxurious but practical and travel friendly.

The product is light greyish in color as you can see in the picture above and the swatch below. It doesn't smell of anything very specific but has a kind of light herbally scent. But not something which distracts me or my nose for the 5 minutes I put this on. The longer you put this mask on your face, the better as the brand claims.

Swatch:

As some of you may be able to garner from the swatch above the mask is quiet dry. I mean the mask is dead pan dry with the least amount of moisture. That makes it a task to put on as chunks will drop off if you apply it as is on your skin. So, I dampen my skin beforehand, dampen the mask on my palm with a little water and then it applies smoothly and evenly onto my face. I don't know if the tub I have received has a dried out product or if it like that for all.

With regular usage I have actually noticed better pores on my skin, which means that they are cleaner, lesser blackheads and pores are less visible. Moreover the frequency of breakouts has also reduced ever since I started using this. So, I guess the product is working upto the mark with all that it claims.

However, I have failed to notice the cooling sensation since the mask is so dry perhaps and if it was a little bit more fluid then there would have been cooling effect for sure.

Overall, I am quiet happy with the mask except for the consistency of the one I received. Would definitely recommend to everyone looking for a good mask for addressing their pore concerns. At this price point and the quantity received this one is quite a bargain. However, the mask may be too drying for the beauties with dry skin. So, just so a sample test before buying.
