KIKO Cosmetics Universal Fit Hydrating Foundation Review

Hello beauties,

Spring is on the way to say goodbye, while the summers are just upon us a bit too quickly. And with this changing weather, my skin is also starting to play with the dry AC environment and the scorching heat outside (already). So, as I am figuring out changes to bring about in my skin care routine, I also wanted to share with you guys an awesome affordable foundation from a relatively new brand in India, KIKO Cosmetics. Actually my love with KIKO goes a long way back to 2012, when a friend visiting Italy, got me a few things from KIKO (read HERE). And now that we have KIKO here I did a mini haul as well (read HERE). So, let's know more about this foundation!

Packaging:
A very basic tube packaging with a black twist open cap (which I like for foundations). The packaaging actually looks quiet luxurious (like MAC foundations). My only grouse is that the black cap has the sort of material (the matte texture), which picks up finger prints and foundation quickly and needs to be cleaned quiet frequently.
Swatch:
(L- non-blended, R- lightly blended)

(L- non-blended, R- completely blended)

The foundation is super easy to blend, so full points here. Doesn't set or dry too quickly, gives you ample time to blend the foundation on your skin. Neither is the foundation too runny or fluid like one of my favorite Chanel Vita Lumiere Aqua. Personally, I love to use my fingers to blend the foundation and the texture of this foundation allows me to do that easily. Blends equally well with a sponge also.

The foundation covers up fine lines beautifully and gives the appearance of a super smooth, toned and flawless skin upon complete blending (as can be seen from the blended picture above). Sometimes, I mix the foundation with an illuminator for that extra glow to the skin.

The coverage provided by the foundation is quiet good. I don't have very dark circles, but with this foundation, if I am going for a natural look, I don't need to apply concealer to cover up my under eye circles. The foundation takes good care of my under eye area, making them smooth and radiant at the same time.

At this price point, the foundation is quiet good, and I love the mantra of KIKO cosmetics of providing affordable luxury in Cosmetics :).

Longetivity of this foundation is also quiet high. I have worn it for straight 7-8 hours (in winters) though and it didn't budge or move. A little product breakdown I observed around my nose but was easily fixed by blotting and a little powder.

I have used this foundation HERE, HERE and HERE.
