Traditional Solah Shringar Karwachauth Makeup Look

Hello beauties,

"Happy Karvachauth"

This one is for all the brave women fasting out there!

Though we as jains don't celebrate Karwachauth, I love to get decked up for the occasion. So, when I was invited for a Karvachauth celebration in my neighbourhood, I couldn't resist and got decked up in a beautiful red saree with lots of stone work and kundan work.

Also, did the complete "solah shringar" as mentioned in the texts for a bride (for those interested, please read HERE).

The makeup I kept on the glowy side with a bright lip and traditional heavy kolhed eyes, to avoid confrontation with a attention seeking saree and heavy jewelry.

I am listing down here a list of makeup products I used for the look for your reference:
Foundation: Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in shade 50 Beige
Concealer: MAC Prolongwear Concealer in NC35
Powder: MAC Sheer Select Pressed Powder NC30
Blush: NARS Org?sm Blush
Highlighter: Used Ricepaper eyeshadow from MAC as a Highlighter
Eyeshadow: Urban Decay Eyeshadows from Naked Palette, Half Baked on upper eyelid and inner corner highlight, DarkHorse in the crease, lower lashline, outer corner and Creep in the outer corner to deepen the crease
Mascara: L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Butterfly Waterproof Mascara
Eyeliner: Urban Decay 24/7 EyePencil in Perversion (used as kohl on lower lashline as well)
Eyebrows: Essence Eyepencil in brown
Lipliner: Catrice Lip Liner 080 That's What Rosewood Do
Lipstick: Sugar Matte As Hell Lipstick Scarlett O'Hara

I don't have closeups of my makeup look as most of them were group selfies ;), can't sabotage the privacy of my friends (sorry!).

Hope you like the look! Let me know what you wore on this special day in the comments section below.

See ya...
