Today , I am reviewing a relatively new launch from Sugar Cosmetics, Sugar Arrested for Overstay Waterproof Eyeliner. Read on to know how the eyeliner fared for me...

Price: INR 699 for 0.55 ml of the product.

Ingredient list (not mentioned on the packaging, obtained it from their website and it includes paraben):

What the brand says:
Always on the go but can't live without a little wing? Your search for that perfect feline flick ends right here, right now! The SUGAR Arrested For Overstay Waterproof Eyeliner (quite literally a pen!) glides on smoothly and stays on until you say when. So whether you’re a makeup newbie or a pro - creating a range of eye-opening looks, from statement bold graphic lines to carefully crafted cat eyes has never been this easy. But wait, there’s more to your newest SUGAR crush – did we mention that it’s 100% waterproof? Be it sweaty workouts or dips in the sea, this new must-have is the wonder liner your collection is missing. Grab it now!

How to Apply: For a subtle defining line, draw the tip of the pen from the inner to the outer eye corner, sticking as close to the lash line as possible. Slant the pen and add more pressure to create a bolder line or continue to layer until you achieve desired definition.

Benefits: Designed with a precision tip for complete control over your eye artistry, the eyeliner delivers super-subtle lines and flicks with an ease that you can build up slowly for a more dramatic look. The blacker-than-black pigment is perfectly opaque and won’t fade, run, crack or melt come rain or shine.

Additional Details: Shake the eyeliner pen before using so the formula saturates the felt tip. For best results, wipe tip with a damp tissue before applying to prevent powder build-up, which may cause the eyeliner pen to dry out. Made in Korea and currently available in the shade "01 I’ll Be Black".

A must do eyeliner look for me is the winged eye and I am always on the lookout for products, which help me in achieving the look easily. I am a sucked for sketch pen like eyeliners but generally they suffer from saggy tips and uneven distribution of the eyeliner. Also, they tend to dry out too quickly and they offer very little in terms of pigmentation.

 The applicator:

The applicator is quiet nice not too stiff and neither too wiggly or soft, which makes for a very precise application of the eyeliner on the eyes. It deposits just the precise amount of eyeliner everytime, just as good as a liquid eyeliner.

Swatch:
The eyeliner color is a deep dark black, which is deposited quite evenly by the felt tip of the eyeliner. The eyeliner takes around 30 seconds to dry and set and once set you are good to go for the day.

Swatch (after holding my hand under running water for a minute):

As you can see from above the eyeliner stayed put even after placing it directly under running water for a good minute or so. But sadly, if you rub it then it starts to smudge and come off though not crazily, so I think it would definitely suffice a night of dancing and partying.

For me with the price, awesome applicator and pigmentation this eyeliner is here to stay! Do get it if you are looking for a great eyeliner and have wobbly hands which makes it difficult for you to wing it out with ease! This eyeliner offers the ease of application with the correct amount of pigmentation at an absolutely great price. However, those of you looking for paraben free products may like to stay away from it!
