Khadi Rose and Sandalwood Face Pack Review, Swatch

Hello beauties,

Recovering from a really bad one year of skin breakouts hasn't been easy for me and though makeup does help ease out the scars when you are up for a party/wedding, the reality of my skin kept nagging me. Yes, I am one of those who has been blessed with really nice peaches and cream complexion and my skin has never ever broken out this bad. So, now I can actually think of all those people fighting with acne and pimples day in and day out.

The causes of this severe acne is something that I am still figuring out and if you have read my last few posts, then they are about those superhero products, which have helped my skin in recovering and rejuvenating without being hard/harsh on my pocket. Basically it was going back to the basics for me. The product I am reviewing today is another such product, I was looking out for face masks with "Multani Mitti", which is a natural oil absorbent for the skin and at the same time user and pocket friendly. So, looking for natural brand face packs I came across this wonderful Khadi Rose and Sandalwood Face Pack and there has been no looking back ever since. Read on to know more about the product...

Price: INR 90 for 50 gms of the product

Ingredient list:

The amazing concoction of natural clays and herbs

To begin with the packaging is amazing! You get a tin with a plastic pouch inside which holds the face pack powder. Absolutely spillage proof and eco friendly (except for the plastic pouch).

Next, you get to smell the product, absolutely non irritating natural and heavenly mild smell of roses and sandalwood. The texture of the product is like a fine powder and nothing coarse, therefore it is safe for people with sensitive/acne prone skin. Doesn't irritate skin at all.

I use it by mixing the powder with water, you can use rose water if you prefer. Add more or less as per the desired consistency. I like to keep my masks on the thicker side so that they dry quickly. After making the paste, I apply an even and thin layer on the face and let the mask dry for atleast 5 minutes on my face. Then I wash it off with water.

The effects are almost instantaneous, my skin is clearer, brighter and glowing and not too dry. However, I do apply a toner and moisturizer afterwards. The morning after is also great with
less oiliness on my face. Since using this I have noticed lesser breakouts and more even toned skin. Though it doesn't remove the already existing marks on the skin. Te pack also helps in controlling any eruptions, they dry out within an two days and are less painful compared to my earlier breakouts.

These days I have replaced my face wash with this pack. At nights after cleaning my face using a non-soap cleanser, I apply a thick layer of mask and follow up with my normal toning and moisturizing routine.

Overall, for me it is a great product, even though I cannot ascertain if it is the multani mitti doing the work or this particular face pack. However, I will recommend this product definitely as it is herbal, natural and gentle for the skin. apart from these benefits, the product pocket friendly as well.
