Rimmel London WaterProof Eye Definer in Wine Plum Review, Swatch

Hello everyone,
Today I am sharing with you all, one of my recent impulse buys. I had wanted to try a glitter nail paint for long and when found Rimmel on Slassy couldn’t wait to buy it. But generally as it is with me, I hate paying shipping charges. So, I browsed some more and within minutes decided to pick this eyeliner from Rimmel in the shade Wine Plum.

Price: INR 275 for 0.28 gm of product. Packaging is very cute for a retractable eyeliner at the price it is retailing. I have never seen such packaging on any Indian product so far. It is practical and very very user friendly. The pencil includes a smudger and tip sharpener at the other end. I simply love the tip sharpner, as with retractable pencils the tip gets blunt within a single use and this useful inclusion allows me to draw thin lines any time of the day. The smudger is also very useful for creating a slightly smoky effect at the outer corners of the eyes.

Now for my thoughts on the eyeliner, the color is super gorgeous for daily wear to office. It is formal yet colorful and lends a beautiful subtlety to the eyes. It’s not in your face color yet it is very chic and sophisticated. The texture of the pencil is creamy yet firm and doesn’t tug on my eyelids. It is easy to outline my eyes with it. Once applied and set like in a minute, the color doesn’t smudge, budge or transfer to my eyelids. Even the intensity of the color remains the same till the end of the day. At night it removes easily with my Lakme bi-phasic makeup remover. Overall a very nice product at a competitive price.

Product rating: A, available at Slassy.com for now and maybe some stores in Mumbai, I have yet to see this brand in NCR. Would highly recommend this range of eyepencils to one and all, for their awesome color selection and great price. Personally I am planning to buy some more shades from them in the near future.

Take care...

  1. Lovely colour. Does it show up well on pigmented eyelids? My Bourjois eye pencil in purple doesn't show up well on my lids.

    1. yeah it shows up nicely but if the lids are very pigmented then I would suggest Colorbar prunella :)
