Since the festivities are right upon us, I decided to do two makeup tutorials for Diwali. Since here in India we are always wearing bling in our festive clothes, I decided the makeup to match the bling. While playing around with colors I had in my kitty, I came up with a silver and blue eye makeup, which I think would look great paired with all-white / all silver outfits. I hope you girls like the tutorial.
So, let's begin with the products used for the look:
1. Lancome Travel Voyage Pallete
2. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tenacious Teal
3. MAC Painterly Paint Pot
4. L'oreal Infallible Eyeshadow All Night Blue
5. Estee Lauder MAgnascopic Mascara
6. L'oreal Felt tip Liner
7. Shu Umera Lash Curler
8. MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation (I am NC35)
9. MAC Posey Blush
10. Bourjois Lip Liner Enjoleuse
11. Estee Lauder Pure Color Lip Gloss in Rose Emotion
12. Makeup Brushes: Inglot, Vega
So, let's begin: Step 1: Applied Painterly all over my eye lids as a makeup primer.
Step 2: Applied tenacious teal all over the upper lid opaquely and not so neatly.
Step 3: Patted a silver eyeshadow on the inner third of the upper eyelid, inner corners of the eye, inner one-third of the lower lash line, and a little at the brow bone as highlighter.
Step 4: Patted a dark navy blue eyeshadow at the outer third of the upper eyelid
Step 5: Blended the three eyeshdows together lightly so as to remove any harsh edges.
Step 6: Applied the dark navy blue eye color on the outer two thirds of the lower lash line.
Step 7: Applied a black eyeliner on the upper lash line
Step 8: Curl lashes and apply mascara
Step 9: Fill in your brows once the face makeup is complete.
For the face: Cleaned the fall out under eyes and used MAC studio select foundation all over my face. Applied MAC Posey Blush with clean finger tips on the apples of my cheeks. Lined and filled my lips with my Boujois lip liner and finished up with a nude rosy lipgloss.
