Birthday Party Makeup: Step by Step Tutorial

Hey Girls,

Today I am sharing with all of your step by step tutorial of my FOTD during my son's birthday (shown HERE). First the products used for the look:

  1. MAC Painterly Paint Pot
  2. Inglot eyeshadows, gold and plum
  3. MAC ricepaper eyeshadow
  4. Darkest brown eyeshadow from Revlon Naturally Glamourous Pallete
  5. L'oreal Felt tip liner
  6. Oriflame EyeLash Curler
  7. Lakme Lash Artist Mascara
  8. MAC studio sculpt foundation
  9. KIKO blush
  10. MAC sheer select powder
  11. Bourjois Paris lip liner
  12. Inglot Slim Gel Lipstick #62

Step 1: Prime your eyelids with MAC painterly paint pot and blend it in using your finger or your brush. Wait for a minute.

Step 2: Apply MAC expensive pink on the upper lid and inner corners.

Step 3: Apply the plum eyeshadow on the outer half of the upper lid.

Step 4: Blend them together to avoid any harsh lines.

Step 5: Take the brown eyeshadow and apply it on the outer corners and crease of the upper lid. Blend well. Apply the same brown eyeshadow on the lower lash line.

Step 6: Apply MAC ricepaper highlighter on the brow bone. Apply liquid black liner on the upper lashes.

Step 7: Curl you lashes and apply mascara. Finished!!!

Face makeup: Applied studio sculpt foundation (MAC) in NC35 to my face, using a foundation brush and applied KIKO sheer powder blush on my cheeks. Blended the blush using my finger tips as it gives a very natural flush and dewy look to your face.
Next, powdered the T-Zone only as I wanted the look to be dewy and glowy (MAC sheer select powder).

Lined and filled my lips with bourjois lip liner (review here) and applied a festive Inglot Slim Gel Lipstick on my lips. The lipcolor is a beautiful bridal red with micro golden shimmers. And here is the finished look:

Hope you guys like the look. Do write your thoughts in the comments section below.

Take care...
